Nightscape
Stacker
Milky Way landscape stacking
Stars move between frames. Your foreground doesn't.
Nightscape Stacker separates the two layers, aligns and stacks each independently, then
composites the result - all locally on your own computer.
Sky and foreground are masked, stacked independently, then merged. Stars stay sharp, foreground stays clean.
Plate-solves each frame with ASTAP to handle wide rotation angles across a multi-panel Milky Way arc.
Mean, median, or kappa-sigma clipping. Optional denoise, unsharp mask, and arcsinh stretch in post.
Everything runs on your machine. No cloud, no account, no AI.
